2020 Cline Family Cellars, Seven Ranchlands North Coast Cabernet Sauvignon $18
The Cline founders were busy raising seven children and farming their seven vineyard ranches. Out of them they make a series of single varietals. This Sonoma Cab explodes with blueberry, blackberry pie, elderberry, plum jam, slight cigar box, and mocha oak notes. With a long finish and fine-grained tannins and invigorating freshness. It is a big bodied California Cab at a great price.

This Lisbon-region White has a very fresh and aromatic nose with citric fruit, green apple and mineral notes. On the palate it is fresh, with fine intensity, balanced and natural acidity very typical from Arinto grapes, with long aftertaste.

This Douro Red blend imparts fresh notes of raspberry, blackberry and spices. On the palate, this wine shows round and velvety tannins, good concentration, and a long finish.

This Dao White is given a beautiful golden color by the maturation and richness of Encruzado and Bical grapes. Its’ subtle aromatics are dominated by a complex bouquet of white fruit, herbs, and minerality. Luxurious in the mouth but then very well balanced and long due to its great acidity.

This Dao Red blend delivers aromas of black and blue fruits with hints of woodsmoke. Medium bodied with flavors of blackberry, elderberry, gingerbread, and hints of vanilla.

50% Niellucciu, 35% Sciaccarellu, 15% Grenache
The wine jumps out of the glass with aromas of red berries, melon and pomegranate kissed with a touch of wet stone. This rosé is deliciously delicate and washes over the palate with wave after wave of energetic fresh fruit flavors. Perfectly balanced, this wine exhibits a beautiful marriage of fine minerality and elegant acidity. Sunday
2018 I Pentri Flora, Falanghina ‘Beneventano’ $18

This southern Italian Falanghina emerges from the glass as an exotic, totally beguiling White. Apricots, white truffles, flowers, honey and mint are all woven together beautifully in this exceptional, polished wine.
It always hurts a bit when you have to write the check to the IRS. So this weekend we’ll be pouring some budget wines to take the sting out of April 18th. Of course if you got a big refund we have some fancier wines on the shelf to help celebrate. Come go wild.
