this weekend
Madrona Wine Merchants opened its door ten years ago mid-October as the leaves were turning and the rain settling in just as it is now. Over the last decade we have rotated through over 6000 wines while trying to curate a diverse selection of interesting grape juice that is fun to drink and enlivens the palate.
Thanks to all of you who have supported us in this endeavor over the past 10 years and join us as we raise a glass to the future.
Cheers,
Jim & Mark

Looking for a pairing with this weekend’s Tapas?
2019 Nortico, Alvarinho $13
A young, fresh white wine with the characteristic bright acidity and aromas of peach and grapefruit. Nortico is light and delicate, lovely as a “porch-sipping wine” to drink on its own. Also a terrific seafood wine, particularly with salty, fattier dishes like fish tacos or broiled oysters. Was $15 now $13
2014 Señorio de la Eralta, Rioja Reserva $15
Tempranillo
Snappy cranberry and tart cherry flavors mingle with leafy and licorice notes in this lively red. Cocoa and toasty accents linger on the finish. It’s bright and fresh. Drink through 2024 if you can wait that long. Was $28 now $15
Thanks City of Seattle/Metro for highlighting our store on the bus stop in our neighborhood!
Yep, our building housed the first Black Panther’s Seattle headquarters.
As of June 30th, 73% of King County is fully vaccinated and 80% are in the process with at least one shot.
If you are fully vaccinated, we will no longer require a mask while shopping.
If you are still in the process, we ask that you continue to wear a mask for a few more weeks (two weeks after your second shot).
If you are not vaccinated, we highly suggest that do, and ask that you continue to wear a mask while in our shop both for your safety and others.
Come show us your smiling face.
