Château de Clairvoy sits on limestone slopes on the right bank of the Gironde. The wine from their estate vineyards is aged for 18 to 24 months in barrels before bottling. The 2005 is rich and full, drinking great right now with several more years ahead. Its velvety dark frit blends with a licorice note and some spicy herbal undertones.
