From 50-year-old vines, the final point has lots of good plush fruit and a touch of oak for a quite reasonable price.

2009 Quinta do Infantado Duoro Red    ($14) ($13)
30% Touriga Franca, 30% Touriga Nacional, 30% Tinta Roriz, 10% Other Red Varieties
A full rich estate red from a quality Port producer. Lots of ripe pie cherry, Kirsh, and smooth tannins.

Garnacha
From 25 to 50 year old vines in Rioja, this Grenache has bold, dark cherry flavors with spicy tannins and hints of chocolate

2012 Vasco Sassetti Montecucco Rosso    ($15)
25% Sangiovese, 25% Merlot, 25% Syrah, 25% Alicante
Rich, full and well made.

2008 Casa Contini Biferno Reserva DOC    ($11)
Montepulciano and Aglianico
From Molise, this reserva spends 3 years in barrel. It is rich and plummy, with a smoky blackberry, chestnut, and peppery-sweet aroma that delights the senses.

2012 Grand Bateau Bordeaux Blanc    ($12)
80% Sauvignon Blanc, 20% Semillon
From well-known Bordeaux producer Château Beychevelle, this blend of semillon and sauvignon blanc shows citrus and herbal characters with a touch of oak and mineral backbone.

A really delicious Gascogne white varietal with lots of grapefruit snap, floral notes and great mouthfeel.

A fresh and citrusy green wine for summer days. No frizzante but good body.

2013 Château Bas Coteaux d’ AIX en Provence, L’Alvernègue    ($10)
Cinsault, Syrah

A fresh Barbera blend.

2010 Château L’Euziere Almandin    ($12)
70% Syrah, 25% Grenache, 5% Mourvèdre
Pic St Loup
L’Euzière is 23 hectares in the heart of the Pic Saint Loup appellation in the Languedoc. The wine ages 12 to 14 months in barrel and has aromas of cooked black cherries, crushed blackberry and blackcurrant with a dry finish. Was $16 now 12

80% Tempranillo, 15% Garnache, 5% Mazuelo

2010 Bocopa Laudum Nature    ($10)
50% Monestrell , 30% Tempranillo, 20% Cabernet
Alicante
A smoky, lighter bodied Spanish red takes a dip in price. Was $15 now $10. Organic

More Whites & Rosés

2013 Armas de Guerra Mencia Rosé    ($12)
One of the more deliciously distinct rosés to come into town. Dry, floral aromas with crisp tropical flavors like mango, papaya and lime. The perfect wine for a litle gardening.

2013 Ott & Murphy Chanson Rosé    ($15)
A Rhone rosé from Whidbey Island (at least the winery) with lots of dry tropical fruit flavors, good body and a crisp finish.

2012 Ganza Pinot Grigio    ($11)
A fuller Pinot Grigio from Umbria that has well rounded tropical fruit and spice.
